How do I activate my Govora eSIM?

After purchasing a Govora eSIM, you’ll need to complete a few setup steps to activate your eSIM before or after you arrive at your destination. Please follow the instructions given below.

Before you travel

Set up your Govora eSIM in advance by following these steps:

  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • Install your eSIM on your device 
  • Turn Data Roaming ON for your Govora eSIM

When you arrive at your destination

Once you arrive and want to start using mobile data:

  • (Optional) Disable mobile data switching to ensure your device only uses the Govora eSIM
  • Turn Data Roaming OFF for your primary SIM to avoid roaming charges

NOTE: Turkey restricts access to certain eSIM services. As a result, the Govora website and the option to top up your plan may not be available while you are in the country. To avoid any issues, make sure to purchase and activate your Govora eSIM before entering Turkey.
